*Unlike our other ranks, white belts must earn individual stripes before testing for their White/Yellow Belt. This allows us to ease new students into our curriculum by breaking their requirements into more manageable segments.
White to One Yellow Stripe:
- Knowledge: Meaning of Tae Kwon Do and Where Tae Kwon Do is from.
- One steps: #1-4
- Form: None
- Sparring: None
- Self Defense: None
- Board Breaking: None
- Minimum Classes/Time: None
- Testing Fee for 1st Stripe: $0
One to Two Yellow Stripes:
- Knowledge: 4 Rules of Tae Kwon Do
- One steps: #1-7
- Form: Chon-ji (1st half only)
- Sparring: None
- Self Defense: None
- Board Breaking: None
- Minimum Classes/Time: None
- Testing Fee for 2nd Stripe: $0
Two Yellow Stripes to 9 Gup White/Yellow Belt:
- Knowledge: Meaning of form Chon-Ji, Rules of the Dojang
- One steps: #1-8
- Form: Chon-ji (1st half only)
- Sparring: None
- Self Defense: None
- Board Breaking: None
- Minimum Classes/Time: 6 weeks
- Testing Fee for White/Yellow Belt: $35
