ACTA MINNESOTA

The American Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do Association, or ACTA, was founded in 1976 by Grandmaster In Mook Kim. He is also the founder of Kim’s Academy. Since then ACTA has grown and spread all around the country. The Minnesota locations were started in 1986 in Eden Prairie Minnesota.We now have locations in both Chanhassen and Eden Prairie.

The ACTA is committed to providing its members with an in-depth education of Chung Do Kwon Tae Kwon Do. We believe in teaching the art of Tae Kwon Do by focusing on how the mind, body, and spirit contribute to practicing this ancient martial art.

Our Minnesota schools, as with all the ACTA locations, implement a unique plan in order to preserve the art of Tae Kwon Do and create well-rounded martial artists. Our curriculum includes training in the philosophy and history of Tae Kwon Do as well as the physical techniques. We pride ourselves in the ability to help our students succeed.
